India resumed issuing e-visas for Canadian tourists and business travelers on Wednesday two months after it suspended such services following a row over Ottawa’s accusation of possible Indian government involvement in the murder of a Canadian Sikh separatist leader.

Although the move is likely to ease tensions slightly, relations between the two countries are not expected to improve significantly in the near future.

Nvidia more than tripled its sales last quarter and shared an optimistic outlook for the current quarter, but signaled to investors that US policies had dampened sales to China.

The company posted $22.1bn in revenue in the three months ended in January, a figure above analysts’ expectations and its own guidance. Nvidia also beat profit forecasts, notching $4.93 in diluted earnings per share.

While sales in its key data center division beat estimates, the company said “sales to China declined significantly in the fourth quarter due to US government licensing requirements”.

Affordability is top concern for Canadians as Parliament resumes: poll – National

Affordability issues are the main priority for Canadians as parliamentarians return to Ottawa on Monday, and as Liberals gain slightly on the Conservative lead in the polls.

Polling by Ipsos exclusively for Global News found that 49 per cent of Canadians say that reducing the cost of everyday items like groceries is their top concern and what they want parliamentarians to focus on in the new session of Parliament. This is closely followed by inflation and interest rates (45 per cent) and access to affordable housing (39 per cent).
